Charlotte Marries a Vampire: A new twist of Pachelbel's Canon in D

Sin takes a bite at love when modern day Southern belle Charlotte Stephens turns 30 and thinks God needs help when it comes to finding her a mate for marriage. Despite the assurance of loved ones that God does have a plan, Charlotte unknowingly finds romance with a vampire who happens to be on the prowl for a taste of mortal love.

After a 24-hour courtship dipped in Charleston's coastal charm, Charlotte marries even though the groom says he suffers from a rare sleeping disorder and is only available sundown to sunrise. Charlotte simply shrugs it off to the fact that every newlywed couple has their woes.

Soon Charlotte's dream marriage becomes a yoke of unequal proportions and a preview to what happens when acting on feelings, not faith.

A new twist of Pachelbel's Canon in D

Thanks to musician John Schaller who scored the book trailer's music - a contemporary twist on Pachelbel's Canon in D. I thought the traditional wedding music appropriate for the trailer but needed a quicker tempo and more of an edge. After some research, I found Aerosmith's Cryin is based off the chords from this very tune and while I like the song, it was too much. Then John created the new mix. Perfecto!
